Messy Low Ponytail

img_2313

I’ve found that I’ve become pretty one toned on how I do my hair recently. I put it up in a plain ponytail or do a French braid. I stand by the classics but I’m trying to mix it up a little. I tried a low pony today which brings back bad memories of how I did my hair in middle school (it was so bad) think super slicked back tight hair with crazy curly ponytail part.

But I’ve been seeing some other bloggers who I really like rocking the low pony so I wanted to see if I could do it too. I really like how it turned out. I just curled my hair and loosely tied it back. So so quick and easy and so comfortable. None of that annoying headache you get when you tie your hair back wrong or too tight (surely I’m not the only one who know what I’m talking about).

I’m in the search for some new hair styles that are realistic for every day any suggestions?

      1. Lol I could try…but I found the only way I can hold curls is by adding so much hairspray that it goes crunchy and sort of sets!!

I even had it permed once. They added the chemicals twice, and it still wouldn’t take! I have stubbornly straight hair. It’s okay though. I am used to it.

It just makes me appreciate pretty curls on other people. 😀

  1. I can never pull of a low pony. I always feel like I look like an alien if you can’t see where my pony– or more often, bun– is. I’m a messy-bun-on-top-of-my-head kind of girl. I chopped my hair off a couple months back and it was torture not being able to just throw it up! (It’s just long enough now, thank goodness.)

    1. I had the same issue for the longest time but recently asked my hair dresser to put more layers in my hair and I’ve found that it helped a lot with making me feel better about haivng a low pony … bun not as much yet but well see
