Packing is probably the wost. Actually unpacking is the worst and I’m not looking forward to my bags sitting 1/2 unpacked in my room a month after moving back home. There aren’t really any tips for unpacking other than doing it step by step but there are lots of things you can do that can help you to pack. Here are the things I did when packing for abroad which made all the difference for me.
One of the hardest things I’ve found while being abroad is doing the actual “study” part of “study abroad”. This isn’t some new idea pretty much everyone who goes abroad has the same problem. Not saying I have it figured out at all but here are a few of the tricks I’ve been using to try to get my work done.
The end of my spring break was Easter weekend so I hopped on over to Liverpool to stay with some family for the holiday. On my way out of the country, I stayed a night in London and explored the city a little bit before catching my flight that night.
No secret Italy’s famous for its food. I’ve always LOVED Italian food. As a kid, any type of pasta was one thing my parents could ALWAYS count on me scarfing every bit down. Honestly pretty much still the case. I’ve gotten to try a lot of great food while I’ve been here. Unfortunately, the best food I’ve had has been cooked by my host mom and I can’t exactly recommend her as a place to get food, so here are some of my other favorite food spots I’ve gone back and back again.
